An Oregon §501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation, developing TeleCare Technologies and Services to help people live safely and independently in their own homes, using SmartHome and Social Health Network technologies to help keep elders, their families and professional caregivers connected and informed of their well-being. Our Interdependent-Care (I-Care) model empowers elders to age gracefully at home in community.

Community Credit is designed to build social capital, promote reciprocity and strengthen our core economy: home, family, neighborhood and community that have been so damaged by the recent global financial collapse. Time Banking is a method of reciprocal service exchange that uses time units as Community Credit, which creates value in the CareWheels Interdependent-Care model by converting surplus human capital assets into social capital to reinforce fraying social services, hedge against fiscal austerity and support our local economy.
